Community

Belonging to a group and working together on common goals expands passionate living
Participating in a community will broaden your experience and opportunity to learn and share with others. Community is a great place to learn Core Values, share your Creations, start and deepen important Connections, and realize the Completion of your commitments. Community service is a wonderful way to experience fulfillment of 2020 Passion.
Community Connection
One may venture to find Community Connection before they have a start of a connection with their higher self and their authentic self. This early community participation may highlight the need to learn about your self and your higher self. When you have a beginning sense of who you are then Community Connection can strengthen your identity and ability to connect with people individually and in a group. As mentioned before, the biggest opportunities of Community Connection is in the areas of expanding your awareness, acceptance, and appreciation of others so that you can take action by contributing to others.
Community Experience
Experience starts with any type of participation even if it’s just attendance online or in person only to listen and observe. Next step may be to talk to people you meet at the group activity individually. Following that you might volunteer to take some responsibility that you can accomplish alone. Later on you may be a member of a team that works together. Much later on you may apply your interest, talents and ability to connect by taking a leadership role as a team captain, chairperson, or community leader. All participants play a part in the community experience for everyone. The experience and satisfaction of working together and having some success in a community cause is holistically rewarding. Once this is tasted the desire begins to do it again, and again. Yes 2020 passion can happen as a group.
Community Opportunity
Each of these sub-sections reinforce each other. Communities are an opportunity for connection, a place to experience yourself and others, and an activity where service can be received and given to people in the group and outside the group. A classroom can be a community. A sports team can be a community opportunity. Anytime a group of people get together more than one for a common purpose, a community exists. Remote online communities are an opportunity for growth and service but communities that expect in-person participation may offer a great opportunity for group creation, connection, and contribution
Community Service
Good service can be anonymously given, if you’ve had a chance to become aware of the needs of the recipient. The opportunity to learn about yourself and others plus the opportunity to practice contributing to each other is so valuable. And then community members can join together to plan and manage an outreach to individual outside their own group for community service
Community Selection
Community participation is easier when there is a high-hope of connecting with other participants. Communities that draw people that may have similar personalities, interests, and talents are easier to get started with. Be cautious of communities that are solely focus of those that have similar personalities traits because this may reduce the opportunity to learn and serve each other. You can find existing communities at school, church, hobby clubs, sports teams, addiction recovery groups, family support groups, work teams, local and state politics. The local library might be a meeting place for various communities. Some of the top websites to look for meetings with people that have common interests are:
Eventbrite.ca
Meetups.com
GroupSpaces.com
Meetin.org
Foursquare.com
Citysocializer.com
Community selection and participation is just as difficult at the beginning as selection your Core Values, beginning a passionate Creation, developing a new personal Connection, or making a meaningful personal Contribution. Completing what you start with purpose and passion is what the next section is all about.
